The Sholape Animashawun Foundation stands as a beacon of hope and opportunity in Nigeria, dedicated to making a tangible impact on the lives of students through its unwavering commitment to education. As a non-profit organization, the foundation has been instrumental in raising funds to provide crucial support to students, fostering a culture of learning and empowerment in communities across the country.

Fundraising Initiatives: One of the foundation's key pillars is its tireless efforts in fundraising. Through a variety of campaigns, events, and partnerships, the Sholape Animashawun Foundation has successfully mobilized resources to create scholarships, provide educational materials, and improve infrastructure in schools. The foundation understands that the ripple effect of investing in education is far-reaching, positively impacting not only individual students but entire communities.

Scholarship Programs: A hallmark of the foundation's work is its scholarship programs. By identifying deserving students with limited financial means, the foundation has been able to offer scholarships that cover tuition, books, and other essential expenses. These scholarships are not merely financial aids but symbolic gestures that communicate belief in the potential of each student to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.

Community Engagement: Beyond financial assistance, the Sholape Animashawun Foundation actively engages with the communities it serves. Through mentorship programs, workshops, and outreach initiatives, the foundation seeks to create a holistic support system for students. By involving the community, the foundation fosters a sense of collective responsibility for education, reinforcing the idea that it takes a village to raise and educate a child.

Impact and Future Endeavors: The impact of the Sholape Animashawun Foundation is evident in the success stories of students who have benefited from its programs. As the foundation continues to raise funds and expand its reach, it envisions a future where its efforts contribute significantly to Nigeria's educational landscape, uplifting generations and creating a legacy of learning and empowerment.

In conclusion, the Sholape Animashawun Foundation stands as a testament to the transformative power of education. Through its fundraising initiatives and unwavering dedication, the foundation has become a catalyst for change, illuminating paths to education and progress for students across Nigeria.

A Journey of Giving Back
With the help of our amazing supporters we were able to donate to 4 different organizations.

The first one being the 'Care People' foundation located in Ibadan, Lagos. Care People Foundation is a Motherless Babies home that also doubles as a school for the orphans as well as the children in the community; we were welcomed by the founders, teachers and children and got to tour the space and learn about the amazing things that happen. We also got to meet a young man who was one of the first children to be brought to the Motherless baby home who as an adult now came back to the foundation and was paying his dues by being one of the teachers. We all know that education is a very important aspect in todays world so we decided that we would donate desks to the foundation so that the students can learn and write with ease. In total we were able to source 50 desks with benchs attached custom made so that it can last long. We were joined by Hon.

The second location that we got to support was in Ijebu-Obe, Lagos. Through Mrs. Sholape Animashawuns siblings we got in contact with a Muslim Spiritual Leader who was working with his community to build a Mosque (Muslim Worship Centre). Mrs. Sholape was a Muslim up until her passing and in Islam the Mosque is a place of learning and togetherness. We donated 250 blocks towards the building of the mosque and plan on donated supplies needed to help complete the mosque and maintain it.

The third location was a Correctional Facility located in Badagry, we were welcomed to facility by the Warden and other staff. We donated quite a few items to the facility; a pepper grinder, generator, slippers, bar soap, rice & chicken, drinks for the inmates and we also assisted 5 inmates with their bail. You might be asking why donate to a correctional facility? Well we dont believe that a person should be punished souly on a wrong choice, there is no such thing as bad people just bad choices and we wanted the inmates to understand that. We decided to sow a seed into their life that they can then use to rebuild themselves and can come out after their time rehabilitated and contribute positively for their families and community. Now to address the topic of bail, there was quite a few inmates who had mild offenses such as traffic violation, failure to pay for rent, etc that cannot afford to pay which leaves them with only one option and that is to serve their sentence. For that reason we decided to choose to bail those inmates and made sure that they were different tribes and religious backgrounds. We are still currently in contact with the Warden of the Facility and we are working on a new donation for the facility that we will be announcing soon.

Lastly, our last donation went to Badagary Feneral Hospital. We had two parts to this donation, Mrs. Sholape was a nurse and believed that everyone deserved the right to accessibly healthcare. We met with the Directors of the Hospital and got to tour the facility, we got to share our story with the staff as well as hear about all the iniatives that the hospital has put in place. We donated over 30 hospital bed sheets, wheelchairs and over 200 sanitary pads; we have some more supplies that unfortunetly did not make it to Nigeria on time so they are now being taken to the hospital by some of our volunteers. The second part was our donation to the Praying Building on the medical grounds
