To continue the legacy of the late Sholape Animashawun by providing recreational activities, improving menstrual equity, support and awareness in the interests of social welfare with the objective of improving the conditions of life for persons in need of such facilities.

Our History
The Sholape Animashawun Foundation was created to honor the memory of the late Mrs. Rashidat Oluwasholape Animashawun (nee Arigbabu) who died on July 15th, 2009, in Canada.
Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in supporting communities, we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions. We've consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of these amazing communities!
Foundation Established
SAF was created to honor Mrs. Animashawun's legacy and began providing grants to students with sickle cell anemia
Recognition Award
Toronto Police partnership with the black community rewarded Mrs. Animashawun with a posthumous award
Nigeria Outreach
Donations to Badagry General Hospital, Mosque, Correctional Centre, and COVID-19 relief materials
Expanded Support
Donated to orphanages and awarded grants to students in Brampton for post-secondary education
